The Realme 16 Pro+ smartphone has now been officially unveiled

Realme 16 Pro+ was the brand’s first major release for 2026 and received a redesigned design with a clear focus on photo capabilities. The smartphone was among the first Realme devices to feature the new LumaColor Image processing system, which aims for more natural skin tones, improved color reproduction and correct real-world lighting.
The main camera of the Realme 16 Pro+ has a 200MP resolution and is built on a 1/1.56-inch Samsung HP5 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The main module supports full-size auto-zoom with 1x and 2x modes with no loss of quality. Thanks to the LumaColor Image system, the smartphone offers 21 proprietary color profiles, including five portrait styles: Lively, Vintage, Fresh, Neon and Vivid. HyperRAW, InstantSnap and Anti-Distortion algorithms are also available to improve detail, stabilize dynamic scenes and reduce edge distortion.
The 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera, based on Samsung’s JN5 sensor, is used for zoom shooting. It offers 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom in Super Zoom mode. The third module — an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The smartphone supports 4K HDR video recording at 1x, 2x, 3.5x and 7x focal lengths, as well as dual-focus 4K shooting at 60 frames per second at 1x and 3.5x.

The Realme 16 Pro series is made under the new Urban Wild design philosophy and developed in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The Realme 16 Pro+ back panel is made of biodegradable organic plant-based silicone.
On the hardware side, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which is paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device gets a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. There’s a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies, and an optical fingerprint scanner below the screen.
Realme 16 Pro+ features a 7000mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging support and has IP69 water and dust protection. The software part is represented by the realme UI 7.0 shell based on Android 16. The company promises three major operating system updates and four years of security updates.
The smartphone is available in Master Gold, Master Grey and the India-exclusive Camellia Pink variant. The version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs $443, the 8/256GB configuration — $465, and the 12/256GB variant is priced at $498.
