CES 2026: Lenovo unveiled the affordable AMD Ryzen-powered LOQ 15APH11 gaming laptop
Lenovo LOQ 15APH11 was one of the new gaming laptops shown by the company at CES 2026. The model is aimed at the affordable segment and is built on AMD’s Ryzen 7 250 processor, which is actually a renamed version of the Ryzen 7 8840U — a performance APU from the Hawk Point line.
This processor has eight Zen 4 cores and supports 16 threads. In Lenovo’s configuration, it’s paired with 32GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Graphics are handled by a discrete Nvidia RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, available in higher-end configurations.
Lenovo separately emphasizes the presence of its proprietary Hyperchamber Cooling system. The company says it provides efficient heat dissipation from key components by optimizing airflow and directing hot air out of the chassis.
Lenovo’s Hyperchamber Cooling system is also available in higher-end variants.

The laptop features a 15.3-inch IPS display with a 180Hz refresh rate. The screen has a brightness of up to 400 nits, supports Nvidia’s G-Sync technology, and covers 100% of the sRGB color space. The port set looks pretty decent for its class and includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB4 with up to 140W of power, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, an Ethernet connector, and a 3.5mm audio combo output.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 are responsible for wireless connectivity. Other features include —stereo speakers, a QHD-resolution webcam with an electronic privacy curtain, and a 60Wh battery.
The Lenovo LOQ 15APH11 has a starting price of $1,299. The laptop is due to go on sale in April 2026.
