CES 2026: Lenovo has updated the IdeaPad Pro 5i laptop

At CES 2026, Lenovo unveiled the refreshed IdeaPad Pro 5i, which gets noticeably more performance than before, with an eye on the task-intensive audience. In its maximum configuration, the notebook is powered by a Core Ultra X9 388H processor — a performance-oriented chip from Intel’s Panther Lake lineup.

This processor can be paired with an Nvidia RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. This allows you to comfortably do creative work and other demanding tasks, as well as run modern AAA games at 1440p resolution without noticeable performance issues.

The refreshed IdeaPad Pro 5i is available with an OLED display up to 16 inches diagonal and a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels. Lenovo says the screen offers 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and is DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 certified, making it suitable for graphics and video work.
