CES 2026: Bluetti unveiled an automotive energy hub with up to 1,200 watts of power
Bluetti has officially unveiled the new Charger 2 — a smart energy hub that combines charging from the car and solar panels. The Charger 2 is the direct successor to the Charger 1 and has received notable improvements in both power and functionality.
The key update is support for fast charging thanks to a dual-input architecture. The new system allows simultaneous use of power from the car’s generator and solar panels, providing a total power output of up to 1,200 watts. Bluetti claims charging speeds are 13 times faster than a conventional 12-volt car socket and almost twice as fast as the previous Charger 1.
In practice, this means that the Charger 2 can charge a 1 kWh battery in less than one hour. By comparison, a standard 12V cigarette lighter takes more than 10 hours to charge the same battery. Like the previous model, the Charger 2 is compatible with virtually all third-party portable power stations. Bluetti emphasizes that the Charger 2 uses the same wiring as the Charger 1, so to upgrade, you simply replace the main unit without running new cables.

When it comes to interfaces, the DC hub features a self-installation-friendly Anderson 12V / 50A connector, as well as USB-A, USB-C, and cigarette lighter output ports. The device is capable of consistently delivering up to 600 watts of DC power, which is enough to power power power-hungry devices — diesel heaters, LED lighting, Starlink terminals and car refrigerators. Control and monitoring, including viewing of power consumption history, is available via Bluetti’s proprietary app.
Additional features include — plug-and-play motorhome readiness, two-way charging, and car battery maintenance modes. These include emergency engine start with up to 800 watts of power, 100-watt sustained recharging and pulse battery maintenance.

The Bluetti Charger 2 costs $499 without accessories, while the full kit is priced at $599.
