CES 2026: EarFun unveiled Clip 2 headphones with speech translation function

EarFun has announced the new Clip 2 open-ear headphones with a clip-on design, Hi-Res Audio support, Bluetooth 6.0 low latency, and real-time AI speech translation.
One of the key features of the EarFun Clip 2 is the built-in translation system for more than 100 languages. The function is activated via a customizable action — such as tapping or double-tapping the earpiece, which is set in the proprietary EarFun app. When the interlocutor is speaking, the translated speech is played back in the headphones with virtually no delay. The company emphasizes that it minimizes cloud data collection and processes only the information needed to make the translation work.
The headphones use an open-ear design and feature 12mm drivers with dual magnet systems and titanium diaphragms. Clip 2 support Sony’s LDAC codec for high quality music playback. The ENC noise-canceling system with four microphones is responsible for voice quality and reducing background noise.
In terms of battery life, the Clip 2 lasts up to 6 hours with LDAC on (up to 22 hours with the charging case included) and up to 11 hours with LDAC off (up to 40 hours with the case). The headphones themselves fully charge in one hour in the case, and the case takes about two hours to charge via USB-C (5V / 1A).
The EarFun Clip 2 also support 3D surround sound, Google Fast Pair, LE Audio low-latency mode, and multipoint connectivity to two devices simultaneously. The headphones are IP55 dust and water resistant, weigh 49.6g, and feature a compact size.
