CES 2026: Lenovo shows concept AI glasses with AI assistant and up to 8 hours of battery life

Lenovo unveiled several concept devices at CES 2026, and the AI Glasses Concept was among them. While Lenovo already has AR glasses on sale, this model was created with a different philosophy and is not intended to work as an external display for a smartphone or PC. Instead, the glasses are positioned as a universal AI assistant capable of interacting with multiple devices at once.

The glasses are designed to be a universal AI assistant that can interact with multiple devices.

The concept is based on Lenovo’s Qira platform, which provides multimodal artificial intelligence capabilities. The glasses are able to perform live translation, as well as analyze its surroundings with a built-in camera. Lenovo says the device is designed to give the user instant insight and context into what they are seeing or hearing in real time.

Unlike many XR and AR glasses, the new product doesn’t require a constant wired connection to a smartphone or computer. AI Glasses Concept work wirelessly and have their own built-in display that shows visual cues. This approach allows you to stay connected and informed without having to hold your phone or laptop.
