CES 2026: HP unveiled the EliteBoard G1a, a full PC built into a keyboard
HP has offered an unusual take on compact desktops. Instead of the «all-in-one» format, where components are built into the monitor, the manufacturer has placed a full-fledged working PC right into the keyboard case. This solution, of course, imposes restrictions on the hardware used, but HP EliteBoard G1a can easily cope with everyday tasks. Connect to external devices via USB 4.0 and USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, both of which support power and video.

The EliteBoard G1a’s processor selection is expectedly limited. The device is offered with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, Ryzen AI 5 340, and Ryzen AI 5 330 chips based on the Krackan Point architecture. The integrated Radeon graphics are capable of simultaneously displaying images on two 4K resolution displays. RAM can reach up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 and is installed as custom SODIMM modules. For storage, a PCIe Gen4 NVMe drive of up to 2TB is available. In configuration with the Ryzen AI 7 350, a 32GB of onboard eMMC storage is also available, eliminating the need for a separate SSD.
EliteBoard G1a can also run standalone thanks to its built-in 32Wh battery, but you’ll still need an external monitor to use it. Charge up to 65W via the included adapter or directly from a monitor with a USB-C port. Wireless connectivity comes from Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 or, in more advanced versions, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, or Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

The dimensions of the device are 58 × 118 × 17 mm and weight — 726 grams including the battery. Sales of the HP EliteBoard G1a will start in March 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to the release date.
