Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPlus Fengxingzhe 150W desktop GaN charging station

Lenovo’s ThinkPlus division has launched a new desktop charging station called the Fengxingzhe GaN 150W. The device is priced at $86 and is positioned as an all-in-one solution that can replace multiple chargers and surge protectors at once, providing simultaneous charging for up to seven devices.

The Fengxingzhe GaN 150W Charging Station is the first of its kind in Lenovo’s ThinkPlus division.

The charging station features seven output interfaces: three AC wall outlets on top, three USB-C ports, and one USB-A port. The AC outlets support up to 2,500 watts of power, allowing you to connect desktops, printers, and other powerful office equipment.

The USB outlets have a combined power output of up to 150 watts. One USB-C port delivers up to 140W and supports 20V 7A and 28V 5A modes, making it suitable for charging high-performance Windows laptops as well as PD 3.2-enabled MacBooks. Two other USB-C ports provide up to 45W each, and USB-A — up to 30W.

The device supports a wide range of fast charging protocols including PD 3.2, PPS, QC 3.0, AFC, FCP and other popular standards. The built-in dynamic power distribution system automatically adjusts power delivery based on the number and type of connected devices, allowing you to simultaneously and efficiently charge laptops, smartphones, and accessories without user intervention.

The device supports a wide range of charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, QC 3.0, AFC, FC, and other popular standards.

The charging station is based on a next-generation GaN chip that improves energy efficiency and reduces heat dissipation. It also features a range of safety features, including protection against overheating, over-current and over-voltage, short circuits, power surges, and lightning strikes.
