CES 2026: Samsung introduces Galaxy Book 6 series with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors
Samsung announced the next generation of its premium notebooks at CES 2026. The Galaxy Book 6 lineup includes the base model Galaxy Book 6, the advanced Galaxy Book 6 Pro and the flagship Galaxy Book 6 Ultra. The new products get an updated slim design, AMOLED displays and the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

The flagship of the series is the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, which is focused on resource-intensive tasks like video editing, AI-driven content creation and multimedia entertainment. Samsung skipped the Ultra model last generation, but brought it back into the lineup in 2026. The notebook features a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with WQXGA+ resolution, anti-reflective coating and up to 1,000 nits of brightness for high definition, rich colors and deep contrast.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which deliver up to 50 TOPS of AI performance with an integrated neural processor. This allows you to perform intelligent tasks directly on the device without resorting to cloud services. Configurations with Core Ultra X9, Ultra X7 and Ultra 7 Series 3 processors are available to users. Graphics can be powered by Intel Arc embedded solutions or Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 or RTX 5060 discrete graphics cards.
This combination of features makes the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra suitable not only for creativity, but also for graphically demanding applications and games. The notebook supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage, with an additional slot for storage expansion. The audio system consists of six speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Among the interfaces — Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. An 80.2Wh battery provides up to 30 hours of video playback and supports fast charging.
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro series comes in 14- and 16-inch versions and combines high performance with portability. Like the flagship, the Pro models utilize Core Ultra Series 3 — Core Ultra X7, Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 processors — as well as a built-in NPU for AI tasks. The laptops feature AMOLED displays with touch controls, making them easy to use for creativity and content consumption.

The RAM capacity is 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5X, and storage — up to 1 TB PCIe SSD. The 16-inch version of the Galaxy Book 6 Pro additionally gets a slot for storage expansion. For graphics is responsible for the integrated Intel Arc, sufficient for everyday work and uncomplicated creative tasks. The cooling system has been redesigned and received an evaporative chamber, which provides a quieter and more stable operation. Battery capacity varies depending on the screen diagonal and reaches up to 78Wh on the older model, providing all-day battery life.
The Galaxy Book 6, like the Pro version, is available with 14- and 16-inch screens and offers Intel’s latest processors in the more affordable segment. It comes equipped with Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 Series 3, Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB SSD. A touchscreen is available for the 16-inch model, but standard configurations use an LCD display, including an IPS panel in the higher-end version.
Despite its more affordable positioning, the Galaxy Book 6 retains Samsung’s signature design approach, improved cooling, Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, and a wide array of ports. It’s focused on everyday tasks and offers reliable performance while inheriting many of the premium features of the older versions.
Samsung has yet to reveal global pricing and exact release dates for the Galaxy Book 6 in all markets. Sales in select regions are expected to begin by the end of this month, with the lineup coming to other countries thereafter. All three models will be available in gray and silver, and the Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition will also be available in select regions.
