CES 2026: MSI unveiled Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG mini-PCs
At CES 2026, MSI announced the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, a compact mini-PC that joins its lineup of small form factor desktop systems. The new product is targeted at AI-enabled tasks, everyday work, and modern connectivity requirements, with a chassis volume of just 0.51 liters, making it one of MSI’s most compact AI-ready PCs.
The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG is powered by Intel’s latest Panther Lake processors, also known as the Core Ultra 300 series. The top-of-the-line configuration features an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H with 16 cores and integrated Xe3 graphics. MSI also offers versions with Core Ultra 7 355 and Core Ultra 5 322, allowing you to find the optimal balance between performance and cost.

The mini-PC is Copilot+ PC compliant and has achieved Windows 11 AI+ PC certification. The system utilizes Intel’s fifth-generation Neural Processing Unit (NPU5), which provides up to 50 TOPS of processing power for AI tasks. This enables efficient handling of AI-accelerated scenarios, fast inferencing and future Copilot+ features — including Recall and real-time effects.

For memory, there are two SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 32GB of RAM, and for storage — one NVMe slot for a high-speed SSD. Video outputs allow you to connect up to four displays simultaneously thanks to two Thunderbolt 4 ports and additional image output interfaces.
From a networking perspective, the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG features two 2.5G Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi 7 support. The power button is combined with a fingerprint scanner for quick and secure login. The screwless enclosure makes it easy to maintain and upgrade, and it comes with a cable organizer that’s useful when working in tight spaces.
MSI also notes the use of recycled materials in the device’s design, emphasizing the company’s commitment to more sustainable and eco-friendly design.
