CES 2026: MSI unveils new Raider, Stealth and Crosshair gaming laptops

MSMI unveiled a refreshed lineup of gaming laptops at CES 2026, revealing major hardware upgrades and a redesigned cooling system in the Raider, Stealth and Crosshair series.
The flagship of MSI’s 2026 gaming lineup is the Raider 16 Series, which focuses on stable, high-power performance and desktop-level components. It includes the Raider 16 Max HX, Raider 16 HX and the AMD-powered version — Raider A16 HX, all built on a single 16-inch platform.
Models with Intel processors are powered by Core Ultra 200HX chips, while the Raider A16 HX is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX. The graphics cards reach NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs in the Max HX and A16 HX versions, while the Raider 16 HX is limited to RTX 5080.
Displays include a 16-inch OLED panel with QHD+ resolution, 240Hz, full DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, as well as alternative IPS screens. RAM capacity reaches 128GB in Intel versions and 96GB in the AMD-powered model. PCIe Gen5 and Gen4 drives are supported. All laptops in the series feature Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, high-speed USB ports, Dynaudio speakers, and a 90Wh battery, emphasizing the Raider 16’s focus on productivity over mobility.
The thinnest model is the Stealth 16 AI+, which measures 16.6mm thick and weighs — less than 2kg. At the same time, MSI claims a 20W increase in graphics card power reserve over the previous generation thanks to updated cooling. For this, the device won a CES Innovation Award in the computer components category.
The laptop can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The 16-inch QHD+ resolution OLED display supports 240Hz, 100% DCI-P3 color space, and is DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified. Two slots for up to 128GB of DDR5-7200 RAM and two M.2 slots for SSDs are available for upgrading.

The interface set includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1 with support for up to 8K output, USB-A, and Gigabit Ethernet. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a keyboard with four-zone RGB backlighting and a separate Copilot key are also available. Sound is handled by a four-speaker system with Nahimic enhancements, and power is provided by a 90Wh battery.
The Crosshair series has been updated to include the Crosshair 16 Max HX and Crosshair 16 HX models, which feature 16-inch QHD+ displays with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels.
Crosshair 16 Max HX is powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and supports NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. It is available with a 165Hz OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The laptop supports up to 128GB of DDR5 memory in two slots and features two M.2 sockets with PCIe Gen5 x4 and Gen4 x4 interfaces.
