CES 2026: Acer unveiled the Predator XB273U F6 gaming monitor with up to 1000Hz and IPS matrix

Acer has expanded its Predator lineup of gaming monitors with a new flagship model with an extremely high refresh rate. The Predator XB273U F6 was one of the few non-OLED monitors with ultra-high HERZOCs shown at CES 2026. The device features a 27-inch IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels (QHD) and a base refresh rate of 500Hz. Thanks to dual-mode technology, the monitor can also run at up to 1,000Hz, but with the resolution down to 1,280 × 720 pixels, putting it on par with the new Samsung Odyssey G60H at 1,040Hz.
It’s not yet specified which manufacturer is supplying the matrix for the Predator XB273U F6, though it’s possible that it’s LG Display. The new product will compete with the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD and AOC Agon AGP277QK, which use dual-mode TCL CSOT panels with 500Hz and 1000Hz support. The Acer monitor, meanwhile, is claimed to support FreeSync Premium technology for smooth gaming without image tearing, a 1ms response time and an overdrive mode with up to 0.5ms response.
The Predator XB273U F6 covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space and 99% of sRGB, according to the manufacturer. The screen has a brightness of 350 nits and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The monitor also has built-in speakers, though with a limited power of 2 watts. The stand is fully adjustable and supports tilt, height change, rotation and screen rotation. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone jack.
The Acer Predator XB273U F6 is scheduled for release in the second quarter of the year. In North America, the monitor will be priced from $799.99, and in Europe it will be priced at €899.
