Motorola will release the foldable Razr in a special version for the World Cup 2026

Last month, the upcoming Motorola Razr foldable smartphone with the FIFA 2026 World Cup logo on the back appeared online, and now the company has officially started teasering the release.

Motorola’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr, has been revealed online.

The co-branding is clearly visible in a short video published by Motorola. At the same time, the company has confirmed the device’s launch date — the official announcement will take place on January 6.

The date may sound familiar, as it’s January 6 when Motorola is also planning the global announcement of the Signature smartphone, formerly known as the Edge 70 Ultra. From the looks of it, the company is expecting a busy event with several important new products.

It’s unclear exactly how the 2026 World Cup-themed version of the Razr will differ from the already available Razr 60, which the device appears to be based on. The changes are likely to be limited to the design and a special layout.

All the details will be revealed in a few days — during the official presentation.
