The Realme Neo 8 smartphone will debut this month
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme Neo 8 smartphone will be unveiled in China as early as this month. Along with the name of the device, the brand also revealed which processor will form the basis of it, allowing us to understand in advance what the novelty will be focused on.
Realme Neo 8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform. The same chip is used in the upcoming iQOO Z11 Turbo and the OnePlus Ace 6T already on sale in China. According to the data published by the company itself, the smartphone scores more than 3.58 million points in AnTuTu, which puts it among the most productive Android devices in its segment. Realme emphasizes that the Neo 8 is positioned as a next-generation gaming flagship with a focus on stable frame rates and effective temperature control, rather than short-term peak performance.

According to leaks and official teasers, the Realme Neo 8 will get Samsung’s flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 165Hz. The screen will support high-frequency PWM dimming, which should improve comfort during prolonged use. A 50MP main camera with a large sensor is also expected.
An image of the smartphone published online shows that the device will get a metal frame and a square camera module located at the top left corner of the back panel. Next to the camera unit is the signature Awakening Halo light element, which will dynamically illuminate when there are incoming calls and notifications.

The Realme Neo 8 will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and bypass charging, designed to reduce heat during long gaming sessions. The smartphone is also said to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant body.
