Samsung has unveiled the Freestyle+ portable projector

Ahead of CES, Samsung has unveiled its new Freestyle+ portable projector. The device has a peak brightness of 430 ISO-lumens, which can’t be called high — this level is suitable mainly for viewing in a dark room and will have little effect in the presence of ambient light.

Samsung notes that the Freestyle+ is nearly twice as bright as the previous generation projector. It features a proprietary design with 180-degree rotation, so the image can be projected from virtually any angle — on walls, ceilings and even the floor — without the need for additional accessories.

The projector features a built-in 360-degree speaker, which the company claims delivers richer, more spacious sound in a compact size. Freestyle+ also supports Q-Symphony technology, allowing you to synchronize sound with compatible Samsung soundbars for a more cohesive and layered audio experience.
The device has received a set of intelligent image processing features. 3D Auto Keystone automatically corrects distortion even when projecting onto uneven or irregular surfaces such as corners, curtains or sloping walls. Real-time Focus adjusts focus in real time as the projector moves or rotates, keeping the image sharp and stable. Screen Fit automatically adjusts the picture to fit the screen when using a projection surface, and Wall Calibration analyzes surface color and texture to reduce visual distortion and improve viewing quality.
The Samsung Freestyle+ will go on sale in the first half of 2026. The projector will be on display at Samsung’s booth at CES. Pricing information has not yet been disclosed.
