The Mali-G610 MC2 GPU is responsible for the graphics. The platform supports LPDDR5 RAM up to 5500 Mbps and LPDDR4x up to 4266 Mbps, UFS 3.1 storage, and cameras up to 200MP. The maximum supported display resolution is 1200 × 2600 pixels at refresh rates up to 120Hz.
Dimensity 7100 features an integrated 5G modem with dual-SIM support on fifth-generation networks and peak download speeds of up to 3.3Gbps. The chip also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC navigation systems.
It’s expected that the first Dimensity 7100-based smartphone could be the Infinix Note Edge, which is rumored to be officially announced as early as this month. However, it could be preceded by the Tecno Pova Curve 2, which is also expected to launch soon.
