CES 2026: Nvidia Announces DLSS 4.5

Like last year, NVIDIA used the CES stage to announce an updated version of its real-time image upscaling technology. The new DLSS 4.5 promises a sharper picture thanks to the second-generation Super Resolution Transformer. The company says it provides better temporal image stability, reduces the effect of «plumes» and improves antialiasing.

DLSS 4.5 also gained Dynamic Multi Frame Generation technology, which dynamically adjusts the number of frames per second to the monitor’s refresh rate. This enables performance up to 4K at 240Hz with ray tracing.

Super Resolution Transformer second generation is already available for all RTX series graphics cards. And 6x dynamic frame generation will be available in Spring 2026 exclusively for RTX 50-series graphics cards. Support will be available for more than 400 games through the NVIDIA app.
