Realme is preparing a budget tablet with 5G: Realme Pad 3 could be unveiled in January 2026
According to insiders, Realme is preparing to release the Realme Pad 3, a 5G-enabled budget tablet. It is expected to be announced on January 6, 2026 in India along with the Realme Buds Air 8 wireless headphones and the Realme 16 Pro series smartphones.
Reliable instagrammer Abhishek Yadav has revealed the key specifications of the device. According to him, the tablet will get an 11.6-inch LCD screen with a high resolution of 2.8K and 500 nits of brightness. The performance will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max processor, which will not only ensure smooth performance but also compatibility with 5G networks.
The device will house a 12,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support – a significant improvement over its predecessor. Photography will be handled by two 8-megapixel cameras: a main camera and a front-facing camera for video calls.

Realme will also reportedly introduce additional accessories for the tablet – a keyboard and stylus. While these accessories will be sold separately, first-time buyers can get the stylus as a gift.
The Realme Pad 3 is expected to come in two connectivity options: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 5G, and two memory configurations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB. Color options will presumably include “space gray” and “champagne.”
The new tablet will be the successor to the Realme Pad 2, introduced in 2023. The previous model featured an 11.52-inch 2K screen, a Helio G99 processor and an 8,360 mAh battery with 33W charging, but no 5G support.
If the information is confirmed, the Realme Pad 3 could offer users significant improvements in key features – from screen and processor to battery life and connectivity speed – in an affordable market segment.
