Huawei Pura X2: leak reveals specs ahead of March launch
Huawei’s foldable smartphone, the Pura X2, is expected to debut in China this March, and a fresh leak has spilled more details about the upcoming device. The Pura X2 promises to be a significant upgrade over the original Pura X, mainly thanks to larger displays and a new chipset.
According to insiders, the Pura X2 will feature a 7.69-inch internal foldable display with a WQHD+ resolution, while the external screen will grow to 5.5 inches. By comparison, the first Pura X came with a 6.3-inch main display and a compact 3.5-inch cover screen.
Beyond the displays, the phone is said to be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 9030 chipset. Another noteworthy upgrade is the addition of a telephoto lens in the main camera setup, marking a clear improvement over the previous generation.

Earlier leaks also indicated that the Pura X2 could come in configurations boasting up to 20GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. HarmonyOS 6.1 is likely to be the operating system of choice. As for colors, the phone is expected to be available in a broad palette including blue, black, green, orange, purple, and white.
Huawei has yet to officially confirm any of these specs, but as the anticipated launch date approaches, we can expect more details to surface about the Pura X2.
