Oppo has officially unveiled the Pad Air5 tablet
Oppo has officially unveiled the Pad Air5 tablet in China. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor coupled with Mali-G615 MC2 graphics, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet is available in both Wi-Fi-only and cellular-enabled versions.
The device gets a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 × 1980 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen has a maximum brightness of 900 nits.

There is an 8-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for taking photos and videos. Both support 1080p video recording.
The tablet has a 10,050 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The operating system is ColorOS 16, which includes a number of artificial intelligence-based features.
The connectivity options include — Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5G and a USB Type-C port. The Oppo Pad Air5 is available in Starlight Powder and Space Gray colors. A Soft Light version is also available, featuring an anti-reflective display finish.

The Wi-Fi version of the Oppo Pad Air5 starts at $270 for the configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $315, while the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB — is priced at $355. The 5G-enabled model is only available in the 8GB + 128GB configuration for now, priced at $340.

The Soft Light version is available in 8GB + 256GB for $340 and 12GB + 256GB for $385. Sales of the Oppo Pad Air5 in China will start on December 31.
