Lenovo reveals display specs and configs for Legion Y700 gaming tablet (2026)

Lenovo is set to officially launch the Legion Y700 tablet in China this March. Last week, the company dropped the first teasers showing off the device’s rear design and color variants. In a new teaser, the brand confirmed the key display specifications, while trusted insider Digital Chat Station revealed the tablet’s configurations.

Lenovo has officially confirmed that the fifth-generation Legion Y700 will sport an 8.8-inch 3K display with a resolution of 3040 × 1904 pixels and 409 ppi density. The screen delivers up to 800 nits of brightness, covers the DCI-P3 color gamut, and supports 12-bit color depth.

The teaser image also indicates the tablet will have two USB-C ports. When held in landscape mode, one port sits at the bottom and the other on the right edge-making it convenient for charging and connecting accessories during gaming sessions.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Legion Y700 (2026) will launch in three variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a flagship model packing 24GB RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. The tablet will run on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Earlier reports also mentioned a roughly 9,000mAh battery, with fresh leaks confirming support for 68W fast charging.

While Lenovo hasn’t officially revealed the panel type, the Legion Y700 Gen 5 is expected to stick with an LCD, just like its predecessor. On the back, there will be a single 50MP camera paired with an RGB LED ring flash. Color options will include black and white.

With the March launch for the Chinese market already underway, Lenovo is likely to drip out more details about the Legion Y700 (2026) in the coming days.
