Next PlayStation State of Play scheduled for February 12
Sony has confirmed that the next PlayStation State of Play will take place on February 12. The presentation kicks off at 2 PM Pacific Time, 5 PM Eastern Time, and 11 PM Central European Time. Running about 60 minutes, this will be one of the longest State of Play broadcasts in recent memory.
The company revealed the stream will showcase games from both PlayStation’s internal studios and third-party publishers, along with indie titles. Highly anticipated exclusives are expected to feature prominently, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and possibly Saros.
There’s also a chance the presentation will highlight Bungie’s Marathon project, which has faced development hurdles, and might even announce a release date. Additionally, news about the PC version of Death Stranding 2 could make an appearance.
Rumors are swirling about a possible new game announcement in the God of War universe. PlayStation 5 Pro owners might also get fresh details regarding the PSSR 2.0 technology.
Sony’s State of Play broadcasts traditionally include remakes and remasters as well. Previous episodes have surprised fans with hardware reveals, like the Pulse Elite wireless speakers and a 240Hz gaming monitor – devices that still don’t have official prices or release dates. It wouldn’t be surprising if Sony unveils another new PlayStation-branded gadget this time around.
