Nothing introduced a special version of the Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition smartphone
By ForGeeks Nothing has unveiled a special version of its Phone (2a) Plus smartphone called the Community Edition. It’s unique because of the user-submitted designs, but it won’t be available to everyone.
The Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition was Nothing’s first “major hardware co-creation pilot project,” according to the company. More than 900 enthusiasts participated in its development, offering ideas for smartphone design and packaging. Nothing’s leadership team selected the best concepts from the submissions.
Some of the ideas were submitted.
The smartphone stands out with a phosphorescent back panel that is “charged” by sunlight. It’s also got unique packaging, a custom wallpaper and a separate ad campaign – all designed by users.
As for the specifications, they are identical to the standard version. The smartphone will go on sale on November 12 on Nothing’s website at a price of $399 (38,700 rubles), and the edition is limited to 1,000 copies.
