In comparison, the previous generation of the Realme Neo 7 included four models at once: the Neo 7 Turbo, Neo 7, Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x. They were powered by Dimensity 9300 Plus, Dimensity 9400e, Dimensity 6400 Max and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chips respectively. It remains to be seen if the Neo 8 series will retain the same variety of modifications.

The use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 indicates that Realme’s new smartphone is aimed at competing with models like the OnePlus Ace 6T, Moto X70 Ultra and iQOO Z11 Turbo Pro, which are also built on this processor. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini uses the same chip, but is focused primarily on camera capabilities, while the aforementioned devices focus on performance.

There’s no official confirmation from Realme at this time. More information about the Neo 8 series is likely to come closer to the announcement.
