Xiaomi has launched a cooling device for smartphone Magnetic Cooling Clip

Xiaomi has unveiled the Magnetic Cooling Clip, a smartphone cooling accessory designed to prevent overheating during intensive tasks like gaming and streaming. The device is priced at 199 yuan (about $28) and is available now on JD.com.

Main features and functions

• 30W cooling: The clip features a solid-state cooler with aluminum fins positioned for directional airflow, improving cooling efficiency.
• High Speed Fan: The seven-blade fan spins at 6,300 RPM, creating a turbine-like airflow for even distribution across the cooling fins. The unit can reduce temperatures to 0°C in 25 seconds, and in ideal conditions reaches -10°C.
• Auto and Extreme Cooling: The device has Auto mode for automatic temperature adjustment and Extreme Cold mode for more powerful cooling. There is also a PID tracking algorithm that monitors temperature for increased safety.

• RGB Backlighting: The clip features four backlighting modes – Rainbow, Breathing, Flowing and Bright – which can be customized via the Mi Home app.
• Magnetic Mount and Universal Clips: Fits MagSafe-enabled devices and other smartphones and tablets with adjustable clips. The device does not block buttons and ports and supports flexible mounting for larger gadgets.

The clip is equipped with overheat, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, and supports QC3.0 and Xiaomi PD 20W for reliable operation. The device is stable in ambient temperature from 5°C to 35°C.
