CES 2026: Lenovo launched the Yoga Mini i desktop mini-PC

At CES 2026, Lenovo joined the growing mini-PC segment by unveiling the Yoga Mini i desktop PC, focused on maximizing space. It’s a compact Windows 11-based system designed for modern workplaces where a full-fledged system unit simply won’t fit.

It’s housed in a cylindrical aluminum chassis and is extremely small. It has a volume of just 0.65 liters and weighs — about 600 grams. This makes it easy to place the computer behind the monitor or carry it between work areas.

Despite its size, Lenovo isn’t positioning the Yoga Mini i as a budget solution. The mini PC can be equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor from the Panther Lake lineup, as well as up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Graphics are powered by Intel Arc integrated graphics.

The system is classified as a Copilot+ PC, which means it supports local AI features including live transcription, automated summaries and other intelligent work scenarios performed directly on the device without resorting to cloud services.

The port selection for such a compact computer looks impressive. The Yoga Mini i gets two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two full-featured USB-C ports, one USB-A port, HDMI 2.1, and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet network connector. Lenovo claims the system is capable of handling up to four external displays simultaneously.

Wireless interfaces are also up to current standards, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 supported. There’s also Wi-Fi sensing, which can detect when a user is near the computer, automatically wake the system from sleep, or trigger basic notifications. It’s powered by a compact 100W USB-C adapter, which helps reduce the number of cables on your desktop.

The Lenovo Yoga Mini i is expected to go on sale in June 2026 for a starting price of about $700. The combination of minimalist design, modern interfaces, and AI capabilities makes the new product an attractive option for users who are considering alternatives like the Mac mini but want to stay in the Windows ecosystem.
