Xiaomi unveiled the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro with smart motor and floating head

Xiaomi has officially launched the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro in China. The new product features a dual-ring stubble gripping system, a high-speed smart motor, and a 360-degree floating shaving head. The device is positioned as the flagship solution in Xiaomi’s ecosystem of smart devices and is priced at 469 yuan (roughly $66).

The Mijia Electric Shaver Pro features a rotary system with three shaving heads. Each uses a dual-ring wavy mesh, which increases the cutting area and allows you to capture more hairs in fewer passes. Additionally, a micro-ball guide micro-coating is used to reduce friction on the skin, and the low-nickel stainless steel mesh helps reduce irritation, which is especially important for sensitive skin.

It uses dual concave stainless steel blades made with metal injection molding (MIM) technology. The blades work in sync with the outer mesh to form a stable stubble retention system, resulting in a more even shave and less hair pulling compared to traditional straight-slit designs.

The shaver features a high-speed motor capable of up to five million cutting strokes per minute. A built-in smart chip analyzes the shaving process up to 100 times per second and automatically adjusts power depending on the thickness of the stubble. There are two modes of operation: standard mode at 2,900 rpm and boost mode at 3,100 rpm.

The shaving head has a 360-degree omnidirectional floating design that adapts to different facial contours, including the jaw line and chin. It supports vertical, lateral, tilting and rocking movements to help reduce missed areas. An intelligent pressure sensor monitors the force of pressure and uses a light ring on the back of the case to prompt the user in real time if pressure becomes excessive.
