Xiaomi launches new washing machine with super electrolysis technology

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Washing Machine Pro Super Electrolysis Smart Wash and Dry 10kg in China. The new product is a smaller version of the previously introduced 12kg model, while retaining key features including super electrolysis technology, smart detergent delivery and HyperOS Connect support.
Xiaomi claims the washing machine can prevent fabric shedding and remove up to 20 types of dirt, including soy sauce, fruit juice and blood. This is achieved through super electrolysis technology, which also helps eliminate yellowing of white clothes. The company notes that the effectiveness of one wash is comparable to using about 50g of color-safe bleach.
Mijia Washing Machine Pro offers sterilization rates of up to 99.99%. Users have access to 21 wash programs, including a steam mode and a 12-minute quick cycle. The machine features an intelligent detergent dispensing system with two compartments, each with approximately 30 days of use. There is also a low temperature drying system with an automatic end of the process when no more moisture is detected in the laundry.
With Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect support, the device can be controlled remotely via a branded app or with voice commands from the Xiao AI assistant.
In China, the new product will go on sale for 3,799 yuan (about $545). There’s no word yet on if and when the model will be available in other markets.
