IKEA launches Grejsimojs LED table lamp shaped like a dog
IKEA has introduced its new Grejsimojs LED table lamp in North America and Europe. The lamp features a bright, playful design, a replaceable light source, brightness adjustment, and a smart memory function that enhances user convenience. Shaped like a sitting dog, it’s positioned as both a decorative and practical interior accessory.
The lamp is already available in several countries worldwide. IKEA describes it as a “child-safe friend who’s there both day and night.” It’s designed for use in children’s rooms and living spaces where soft lighting and a friendly appearance are important.
Equipped with a replaceable LED light source, the lamp offers an estimated lifespan of about 25,000 hours — roughly 20 years based on three hours of daily use. Its glare-free white light produces brightness up to 100 lumens with a warm color temperature of 2700 K.
The Grejsimojs lamp supports brightness adjustment via a button located on the dog’s head. It also includes a memory function that remembers the last brightness level when turned off and on again. The body is made of blue plastic, measuring 27 × 30 × 18 cm, with a 2-meter-long power cable.
Currently, the IKEA Grejsimojs lamp is available in the US, UK, and Sweden, priced at $39.99, £19, and 299 SEK respectively. Launches in other countries are expected on January 31.
