CES 2026: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x (11th generation) notebook unveiled

Following its tradition, Lenovo unveiled a major refresh of nearly its entire lineup of devices at CES 2026. Among the many new and updated laptops, the ARM processor-based model — the 11th-generation Yoga Slim 7x is a particular standout.
Like its predecessor, the new Yoga Slim 7x is powered by Qualcomm’s high-performance ARM chips, but now it’s the Snapdragon X2 Elite family. Compared to the previous generation X1 Elite, the new processors promise a noticeable increase in power. Thus, the top version X2E-96-100 is equipped with 18 cores at once against 12 in the X1 Elite. Combined with IPC improvements, this should provide a serious performance boost.
Of course, software compatibility remains key to the platform’s success. Nevertheless, users whose workloads are already natively supported by Windows on ARM are likely to have a very comfortable experience — about the same as on last year’s models.

The 14-inch Yoga Slim 7x gets an OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Lenovo claims peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits, 100 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage, and a Delta E score of less than 1, making the screen suitable for professional graphics and video work.

A 70Wh battery combined with the power efficiency of the Snapdragon X2 Elite allows the laptop to claim up to 29 hours of battery life. Configurations include up to 32GB of soldered LPDDR5X-9600 RAM and up to 2TB of internal storage.
The case is only 1.39 cm thick at its thinnest point and weighs — about 1.13 kg, making the Yoga Slim 7x very comfortable for constant moving around. Of the interfaces available are three USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless modules. The laptop is also equipped with a 9MP front camera, a four-speaker audio system and a large 108cm² touchpad.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x will have a starting price of $950 and is expected to be available next quarter.
