OnePlus is preparing to launch the Nord CE 5 – debuting in June

After the successful global release of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R flagships, the Chinese brand is preparing a new lineup of mid-range smartphones. OnePlus Nord CE 5 recently appeared in the UAE’s certification database (TDRA), and now it’s made its way to India’s BIS website.
BIS certification indicates an imminent launch in India
The model number CPH2717 has appeared in India’s BIS database, hinting at the device’s imminent release. The smartphone was initially expected in May, but sources are now pointing to a June launch.

- A flat OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate,
- MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset,
- A 7,100 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support,

Cameras and additional features
The rear will feature a dual camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor (Sony Lytia LYT-600) and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor (Sony IMX355). The front camera will get 16 MP.

- 256GB of built-in storage,
- Podscreen fingerprint scanner,
- Hybrid SIM tray,
- IR transmitter,
- Single speaker.
A more advanced model – OnePlus Nord 5
And along with the CE version, the main OnePlus Nord 5 is also getting ready for release, which is expected to be a rebranding of China’s OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition. According to leaks, it will get:
- A flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz,
- Dimensity 9400e chip,
- 7,000 mAh battery with 100W charging,
- The main camera is 50 MP + 8 MP.
