Redmi confirmed the launch date of Note 15 Pro+ and revealed the design

Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone will be launched in China on August 21, 2025. This is reported on the brand’s official Weibo page. Although only the Pro+ model is mentioned so far, it is likely that the entire lineup – including the Redmi Note 15 and Note 15 Pro – will be announced at the same event. The manufacturer has also published images of the device and shared key design and durability features of the new product.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will get a symmetrical design
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has become the brand’s first smartphone with a symmetrical micro-curved design – curved panels on the front and back. According to the company, this solution improves the tactile experience and gives the device a more premium look. It requires sophisticated glass processing techniques and significant investment, which has previously been reserved for flagship models.
The smartphone combines visual sophistication with enhanced durability. For the first time in the Redmi lineup, it features a next-generation dual protection system. The front panel is made of Xiaomi’s Crystal Glass, which is highly resistant to scratches and shocks. The back of the case is made of lightweight but durable fiberglass, which is resistant to bending and drops.

The device has passed the durability test
Redmi claims that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ can withstand drops 10 times better compared to traditional designs. It is the first smartphone in the market to successfully pass a drop test from a height of 2 meters onto a granite surface, repeated 50 times. Thus, the manufacturer emphasizes the combination of stylish design and high reliability in everyday use.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ specifications: preliminary data
Although the specifications of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ have not been officially revealed yet, insiders are sharing the alleged configuration. The device may get an OLED display with curved edges on all sides (quad-curved), 1.5K resolution and a triple main camera. The main sensor is 50MP, complemented by a telephoto lens also at 50MP.

The smartphone is expected to be built on the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and get up to 16GB of RAM. A 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support is also expected. The device should run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and is rumored to support satellite connectivity.
