Five Years of Game Streaming Transformation

Although GeForce Now didn’t officially come out of beta until 2020, it’s hard to believe that the platform has been actively changing the way games are streamed for five years. In that time, the service has proven that even the most demanding projects can be streamed without a download or powerful gaming hardware.

New games and library expansion

To celebrate the anniversary, GeForce Now has announced the addition of nine new games by the end of January. These include highly anticipated new titles like Space Engineers 2 and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap.

The surprises don’t end there, however. February will bring a number of high-profile releases and classic games such as Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, and Alan Wake. These diverse additions will make the GeForce Now library even more appealing to users.

Friendliness and compatibility

GeForce Now lets you play on a wide variety of devices, including Android smartphones and tablets. The app is available in the Google Play Store, and users must own the games they plan to stream through the platform.

The service continues to be one of the leading solutions for those who value freedom of choice and don’t want to depend on expensive gaming hardware.
