BenQ has launched new 4K monitors with AI-contrast and improved sound
By ForGeeks BenQ has unveiled the new EW90U series of monitors, which includes two models – the 27-inch EW2790U and the 32-inch EW3290U. According to BenQ India managing director Rajiv Singh, the new products are designed to support a hybrid lifestyle by combining entertainment, work and casual gaming capabilities. Both monitors combine high resolution, advanced audio and smart features for a comfortable working experience at home.
The two models deliver true 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160), HDR10 support and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. The EW2790U covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, and the EW3290U’s older model extends that to 98%, making them suitable for color correction and video streaming applications. AI-optimized contrast enhances the image in real time, adapting to ambient light and screen content.
In terms of sound, the EW2790U features two 5W speakers, while the EW3290U gets a more advanced 2.1 system with two 2W speakers and a 5W subwoofer. Six audio profiles are available, including Cinema, Dialogue, and Gaming.
TheEW3290U also offers advanced ergonomics with a remote control, quick keys for changing modes, and proprietary Display Pilot 2 software that includes a Pomodoro timer and equalizer. Second-generation Low Blue Light Plus, Flicker-Free and Brightness Intelligence Plus technologies are responsible for eye comfort. Connectivity options include USB-C with 65W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.0, and USB-A.
The new products are priced at Rs 28,498 for the EW2790U and Rs 40,998 for the EW3290U.
