Poco has unveiled the C85 5G budget smartphone in India – prices starting from $133
The Poco C85 5G, a new affordable entry-level smartphone in the C series, has made its debut in India. The model relies on a large display, capacious battery, state-of-the-art 5G platform and long-lasting software support.
Poco C85 5G features and specifications
The smartphone features a 6.9-inch HD+ screen with 120Hz adaptive frequency and up to 810 nits of brightness, which should ensure comfortable use outdoors. The screen is certified for reduced blue light emission, flicker reduction, and circadian support.
The main camera includes a 50-megapixel module and an additional sensor, and there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset coupled with LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 storage. The storage is expandable with a microSD card. The 6,000mAh battery supports 33-watt wired charging and 10-watt reverse cable charging. There’s also a 4G version of the model with the Helio G81 Ultra chip, already available in some countries.



The device runs on HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15. The manufacturer promises two Android updates and four years of security patches. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm jack, dual-SIM support with 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C and IP64 dust and splash protection.
The smartphone comes in Power Black, Spring Green and Mystic Purple colors.

- 8/128GB for Rs. 14,499 (≈ $160);
Sales will start on December 16. Buyers can avail discounts on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI cards.
