Xiaomi 17 could launch globally in January 2026

The Xiaomi 17 smartphone unveiled in China in September is still waiting for an international release. While the company hasn’t released any official information about a launch outside of China, an insider has shared an estimated timeline for the device’s global launch.
According to him, the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 could take place in January 2026. The smartphone is expected to be launched in India around the same time.
The insider said that the smartphone is expected to be launched in India as well.
In the meantime, a Xiaomi smartphone with model number 25113PN0EC has been spotted on the Geekbench platform. It is believed to be the global version of the Xiaomi 17. The database lists Android 16, 12GB of RAM and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. In the tests, the device scored 3,176 in single-threaded mode and 10,010 in multi-threaded mode.
The international version is expected to retain the same specs as the Chinese version. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen, a 50 MP triple camera, a 50 MP front camera, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W cable charging and 50W wireless charging.
