MSI unveiled the MAG 274QP X24 QD-OLED gaming monitor for $499 dollars
MSI has launched sales of the MAG 274QP X24 gaming monitor. The novelty has a 26.5-inch QD-OLED matrix manufactured by Samsung and is aimed at the mid-price segment. The model is priced at $499.99.
The monitor offers a resolution of 2560 × 1440 and a 240Hz refresh rate. MSI utilizes Samsung’s latest third-generation QD-OLED panel, which improves brightness, motion clarity, and overall energy efficiency. Response time is 0.03ms GtG, and the panel is VESA ClearMR 13000 certified, ensuring minimal image blurring in fast-paced games.
The panel is also certified to the VESA ClearMR 13000 standard, ensuring minimal image blurring in fast-paced games.
MAG 274QP X24 supports HDR content with a peak brightness of 400 nits. In SDR mode, brightness reaches 200 nits. The screen covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and comes factory calibrated with Delta E ≤ 2 for accurate color reproduction. Support for Adaptive Sync to eliminate frame gaps is also claimed.

MSI has equipped the monitor with OLED Care 2.0, a protection system that reduces the risk of burn-in. The updated system performs a full panel refresh every 24 hours when the monitor goes to sleep or is turned off. The user is notified 30 minutes before startup so they have time to finish a game or work if necessary. The company offers a three-year warranty against screen burn-in.
The monitor is designed with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. A VESA 100 × 100 mount is also provided. Two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and a headphone jack are available for connectivity. There are no USB ports — this helped keep the cost of the device down.
The monitor is optimized for consoles as well, supporting 1080p and 1440p resolutions at 60 and 120Hz, as well as HDMI CEC and VRR for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
