Lava unveils Play Max smartphone with 120Hz screen and Dimensity 7300 chipset
Lava has launched the Play Max smartphone — a new model in its Play lineup. The device is aimed at a younger audience and focuses on a smooth interface, stable performance and comfort when studying, entertainment and mobile gaming. Among the key features — 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, vapor chamber cooling system and a clean version of Android.
Lava Play Max gets a body with a glossy finish and is offered in two colors. The smartphone features a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on Android 15, with no ads, no pre-installed apps and no unnecessary notifications.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 with up to 2.5GHz combined with LPDDR4X memory is responsible for performance: 6GB plus 6GB of virtual memory or 8GB plus 8GB of virtual memory. Onboard storage is 128GB UFS 3.1, expandable up to 1TB if needed.
At the same time, the MediaTekensity MediaTekensity 7300 is equipped with a 6GB plus 6GB virtual memory or 8GB plus 8GB virtual memory.


The 5,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. The cooling system with evaporative chamber helps maintain a stable temperature during long gaming sessions.
The main camera is — 50 MP with support for electronic stabilization, the front camera is — 8 MP. The smartphone records video in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. Other features include — IP54 protection, GPS, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C and dual-SIM support.

Lava Play Max will be available in Deccan Black and Himalayan White colors. Sales will start later this month. The version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 12,999 (about $145), while the 8GB and 128GB model — Rs. 14,999 (about $166).
