Samsung announced the U8000F series of smart 4K TVs with HDR

Samsung has announced a new line of U8000F smart TVs, which are entry-level models. Despite being more affordable, these 4K TVs feature advanced image processing technologies to enhance the visual experience.

Each model in the Samsung U8000F series features a screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The TVs support HDR10 and HLG formats, as well as Object Tracking Sound Lite, which adapts sound to the movement of objects on the screen for an immersive experience. There’s Filmmaker Mode for unenhanced content, as well as VRR and ALLM.
The new TVs can upscale low-resolution video to 4K and optimize color performance, thanks to the Crystal 4K processor. The devices are powered by Tizen OS, which provides quick access to games via Game Center and support for voice assistants.
