Philips has introduced an OLED TV with Ambilight – OLED+909 (2024)
By ForGeeks Philips’ popular Ambilight backlight TVs have been updated with a new OLED+909 (2024) model. The device is available in three variations with different screen sizes and offers advanced technical features.
The new OLED+909 (2024) is available in three different sizes.
The new model features LG’s high-quality OLED panel with diagonal sizes ranging from 55, 65 to 75 inches with backlight intensity reaching up to 3000 cd/m², mainly thanks to the use of Micro Lens Array Plus technology. To enhance the gaming experience, the TV supports MEMC, variable refresh rate up to 144Hz and Dolby Vision Gaming technology. The display has a claimed response time of 40ms.
When it comes to sound, a built-in 3.1-channel Bowers & Wilkins audio system with the ability to connect an external subwoofer is responsible for delivering the sounds. The TV’s operating system is — Google TV, compatible with the Matter smart home protocol.
The new Philips OLED+909 Ambilight 2024 will go on sale in June. The price of this new model remains unknown at this time.
