CES 2026: HP showed compact accessories for traveling and hybrid work

At CES 2026, HP expanded its line of portable accessories aimed at hybrid workers and those who often work on the road. It included two new devices: the HP 65W GaN Wall Charger and the compact HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub. Both accessories emphasize portability and multi-device compatibility.

The HP 65W GaN Wall Charger is designed for full USB-C charging in a smaller, lighter package. According to the company, it’s about 35% smaller and 15% lighter than the previous-generation charger, making it easier to carry in a travel bag or backpack.

The charger utilizes gallium nitride (GaN) technology, which improves efficiency and reduces heat. The device supports adaptive power delivery, safely charging laptops, tablets, and other USB-C devices. A two-meter USB-C cable is included for added convenience when working away from power outlets. The device is made from at least 90% recycled plastic and comes in FSC-certified packaging.

Along with the charger, HP introduced the HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub. This pocket-sized solution combines five ports in a single USB-C accessory. The hub supports end-to-end power transfer of up to 65W, allowing you to simultaneously charge your laptop and connect peripherals. Available interfaces include — HDMI output with 4K support for an external display, a wired Ethernet port and universal compatibility with USB-C devices.

H HP says the hub is compatible with multiple operating systems and is certified through the Works With Chromebook program, which confirms it’s fully compatible with ChromeOS and makes it convenient for mixed device ecosystems. Like the charger, the hub is focused on sustainability: the casing is made from at least 80 percent recycled plastic and the packaging is FSC-certified.

HP is positioning both accessories as tools for quick and easy workstation deployment in any environment — at home, in the office or when traveling. The devices are scheduled to hit the market in phases, with the HP 65W GaN Wall Charger available in March with prices starting at $59.99, and the HP Portable USB-C 4K HDMI Hub expected earlier — in February, also with a starting price of $59.99.
