Xiaomi has released a major update to the SU7 electric car with a number of new features
By ForGeeks The Xiaomi SU7 electric car has received a major software update. The HyperOS 1.4.5 firmware version introduced several new features, including video calls via the interior camera, advanced charging station search, and other interesting innovations.
The new firmware version is now available in HyperOS 1.4.5.
Some updates require HyperConnect 16.0.0 for HyperOS 2 models or 15.3.2 for the first version of the shell to work properly. One of the new features is video calls, which are made using the onboard camera. When making VoIP calls from a cell phone, the system automatically mutes the car’s microphone to protect personal data.
The electric car is now able to recognize chargers from partner brands such as Nio, Li Auto and Xpeng, providing the ability to sort by power and cost. The smart driving system has also been improved, which now includes:
- Optimized lane selection;
- More accurate traffic light detection;
- Smooth acceleration and braking;
- General improved traffic assessment;
- Remote parking function;
- Automatic turn signal cut-off when the maneuver is completed;
- Improved detection of speed and trajectory of vehicles and pedestrians.
The anti-wing now responds not only to speed, but also to the selected driving mode. And opening the trunk interrupts the unfolding or folding of the wing: the process is only completed when the trunk is closed.
