An insider with the nickname Kopite7kimi has revealed the specifications of the yet-to-be-announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards.
According to the source, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (PG147-SKU60) will be equipped with 16GB of GDDR7 video memory running on a 256-bit bus and a GB203-300-A1 GPU (8960 CUDA cores). Its maximum power consumption is expected to be 300W. It’s pretty close to the current GeForce RTX 4080.
As for the more affordable RTX 5070 (PG146/147-SKU70), it is credited with 12GB of video memory on a 192-bit bus, a GB205-300-A1 chip (6144 CUDA cores) and up to 250W of power consumption. NVIDIA classifies the 70-series for 1440p gameplay, but the base version of the graphics card may be more Full HD-oriented, judging by the demands of today’s AAA games.
The GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards is expected to be announced at CES 2025 in January.
