Asus is preparing an updated Zenbook Duo 2026 with improved displays and battery life
Asus has unveiled a teaser of a new laptop with a dual-screen design. The Zenbook Duo series will get the 2026 model, which will offer several improvements at once and could be a more attractive option for those who want a laptop with an expanded screen workspace.
The last device in the lineup was the Zenbook Duo OLED. Now the company is preparing a full-fledged «sequel», and judging by the published clip in X, the novelty will get noticeable updates. The teaser shows an enhanced hinge connecting the two displays. The screens will apparently remain around 14 inches in size, but the bezels could get thinner.
At the same time, the X is expected to have a larger screen size, but the bezels could get thinner.
In the new Zenbook Duo 2026, Asus is moving to a dual-section battery, which promises to improve overall battery life. Recall that the previous version was equipped with a 75Wh battery. Last year’s Zenbook Duo was powered by Intel Arrow Lake with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H chip.
The update is likely to include the next-generation Panther Lake processor, which is expected to debut early next year. The video teaser also confirms that the Zenbook Duo 2026 will be officially unveiled at CES 2026, on January 6.
