Philips has introduced the TAS2218 and TAS2228 portable speakers in vintage design
By ForGeeks Two exciting new products have been added to the Philips speaker catalog. The TAS2218 and TAS2228 are portable speakers with a wooden case and fabric front cover. Despite their vintage look, both models are packed with modern hardware and boast good battery life.
The TAS2218 has two speakers with a total output of 10 watts. You can connect to sources via Bluetooth 5.0 or play music from a USB stick. Alternatively, you can use the built-in FM radio module. There is a touchpad on top of the speaker that allows you to control playback and adjust the sound. It measures 24 x 10 x 16.5 cm.
TWS feature allows you to synchronize the speakers with another similar model and combine them into a stereo pair. A Type-C port is built into the case for charging. Claimed battery life is up to 6 hours of playback at 70% maximum volume. The TAS2228 features two speakers with a total of 20 watts of power.
Philips TAS2218 and TAS2228 are available for purchase for $53 and $65 ($4 600 and $5 660), respectively.
