Xiaomi, Honor, Vivo and Oppo flagships will get new sensors up to 200 MP

Xiaomi, Honor, Vivo and Oppo are gearing up to announce their standard and Pro flagships in China in the coming weeks, with Xiaomi’s lineup expected to be released before the end of the month. Their Ultra versions, on the other hand, are expected to debut in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, a well-known Digital Chat Station insider has shared details about the main camera configurations of future top-end models.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra will get a 50 MP OmniVision OV50X main sensor. The Honor Magic 8 Ultra will be equipped with a 50MP OmniVision OV50R. Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be equipped with a 200-megapixel Sony IMX09E sensor, which is likely to be launched as Lytia LYT-990.

The Xiaomi 16 Ultra will reportedly use a triple camera system with a customizable 1-inch 50 MP sensor, a 200 MP periscope with 3-5x optical zoom support, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide-angle lens.
Honor Magic 8 Ultra, on the other hand, will get a dual main camera: a large 1/0.98-inch OV LOFIC sensor and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope with 4.3-7x optical zoom.
Vivo X300 Ultra is rumored to use a custom Sony LYT-990 200 MP sensor with a 35mm focal length, and will also get a 200 MP Samsung HPB periscope and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The most versatile might be the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. The device is expected to get a quad camera with a custom Sony LYT-900 200-megapixel sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide freeform lens, another 200 MP periscope and an additional 50-megapixel periscope that supports up to 200x digital zoom.
