Technical specs

Project Moohan runs on Google’s Android XR platform and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor, 16GB of RAM, and dual Sony micro-OLED displays with a 90Hz refresh rate. The headset features multi-camera tracking (supposedly about 12 cameras) and uses an external battery for power.

The headset will support hand and eye tracking, as well as optional VR controllers. According to Road to VR, Samsung could unveil a preview of Project Moohan as early as the Unpacked presentation in July 2025.

With a more affordable price point, utilization of Google’s platform and state-of-the-art hardware, Project Moohan is positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Vision Pro and an important step for Samsung in the XR market
