Gemini has added more editing tools

Google has introduced new artificial intelligence image editing features to the Gemini app, developed by the DeepMind team. These updates are already available to users and include several important features.
First, the new model ensures consistency across different versions of images. Special care is taken to keep characters realistic when making changes to the environment or clothing using AI. This allows you to upload a photo of a person and change the background or outfits without losing the likeness and naturalness of the image.
Second, editing capabilities have been expanded: you can now combine two previously created images into a new scene, use the visual characteristics of an existing image as a cue or design element, and perform multi-step editing. This approach lets you change individual components of an image sequentially without losing any of the previous settings.

It’s worth noting that creating images of people was previously restricted due to potential misunderstandings and incorrect results when prompted by clues related to specific locations and historical periods. Now, users can once again create realistic images of people using AI.
All images created or edited will have a visible watermark indicating the use of AI, increasing transparency and ethical use of the new features.
The update is already available in the Gemini app and promises to greatly enhance the AI-assisted image editing experience for Google users.
