Sony Xperia 1 VII will rise in price: a leak has revealed the price and new details

A new leak from Hong Kong has revealed the price of the flagship Sony Xperia 1 VII, which will be unveiled as early as May 13. The smartphone with 512GB of storage will cost HK$10,899 (about $1400 or €1245) -that’s HK$400 (about $51) more expensive than the Xperia 1 VI with similar storage capacity. Given the dynamics, the price is expected to go up in Europe as well, by about €45.

The reason for the price hike is the more expensive stuffing. The smartphone will get a new chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite, an improved audio system, and an advanced camera.

Sony continues to emphasize sound quality. The Xperia 1 VII will get:
