Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: A budget smartphone with the functionality of a flagship

Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) smartphone later this year. The device will offer functionality closer to the flagship level at a more affordable price.

Insider OnLeaks and the resource Smartprix published images of the new smartphone. According to the leaks, the design of the Galaxy S23 FE includes a triple main camera without protrusions. One of the lenses is likely to be a telephoto lens. On the front, there will be a display without curved edges with a diagonal of about 6.4 inches, as well as a built-in selfie camera hidden under the display and a prominent bezel, especially on the bottom. The device will measure 158 × 76.3 × 8.2 mm.

The Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, 128 or 256GB of internal storage combined with 6 or 8GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. There is also a chance that the Galaxy S23 FE will have a 50MP main camera. Compared to the S21 FE, which had a 12-megapixel sensor, this is a significant improvement.
The new device will presumably be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event in late July.
